A native of Manheim, PA, Garret Barbush graduated from Manheim Central High School in 2003, where he excelled in the classroom, on the wrestling mat, and on the golf course.  After high school, Barbush attended Malone University in Canton, Ohio where he studied Business Administration and was a member of the men’s golf team.  He graduated from Malone University in May 2007 with his B.A. in Business Administration.  Following graduation, he launched Keystone Putting Greens, LLC, a company that specialized in the installation of synthetic putting greens in back yards of residential homes.

In September 2008, Barbush pursued a new career opportunity as an agricultural loan officer with Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit, ACA.  His main duties were sales focused and included establishing new customers, servicing accounts, and actively communicating and maintaining relationships with prospects and borrowers.  In 2011, his success landed him on the Pennsylvania region’s Workflow Enhancement Team, and he was also nominated to be a member of Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit’s Strategic Action Council.  Later that year, Barbush was awarded with Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit’s Distinguished Service Award.

In November 2011, he made the decision to leave a promising career with Farm Credit in order to pursue a new and exciting opportunity with the non-profit organization, Men of Iron (www.menofiron.ws), where he accepted the full-time position of Executive Director.  He was actively involved in Victory Church’s launch of Men of Iron where he went through the program twice as a protégé and currently serves as as a mentor.  “I’ve been through this program as both a protégé and mentor, and I have experienced the powerful transformation that it has to offer.  I am excited to bring the gifts and talents that God has blessed me with to the organization, and I will do everything in my power to reach as many men as possible.”

He currently resides in Manheim, PA with his wife Eden.  The couple was married in July 2011.  Garret’s interests include spending time with his wife and family, NCAA wrestling, golf, bow hunting, working out, hiking, and the outdoors.
